Mit seiner anthrazitfarbenen Nighthawk hat der berühmt-berüchtigte Auftragskiller „Fable“ schon so einige Leute in den ewigen Schlaf geschickt. Politiker, Berühmtheiten oder Kriminelle – keiner kann sich seinem Lauf entziehen, wenn der Auftrag erst einmal erteilt wurde. Als diesem genialen Killer aber aufgetragen wird, ein normales Leben zu führen und unterzutauchen, kommt dieser schnell an seine Grenzen. Sich im Schatten zu bewegen und auf Befehl zu morden ist eine Sache, aber im Tageslicht ein normales Leben zu führen und niemanden zu töten – das ist definitiv die härteste Mission seines Lebens!
